I'm Mathieu Dubois, a senior software engineer and the CTO and co-founder of Carewell. I build and ship platforms that matter: healthcare staffing software, dedicated LLM infrastructure and AI agents hosted in Switzerland, with earlier years keeping banking platforms running for 300'000+ customers at Swissquote.

About

As CTO and co-founder of Carewell, I lead the engineering behind a digital staffing marketplace connecting nurses and care institutions across Switzerland: flexible missions for healthcare professionals, reliable replacements for hospitals, clinics and home-care providers.

Alongside that, I build infrastructure and civic-tech products: LLMaaS, a Swiss-hosted dedicated-GPU LLM API service, and Twipolitik, a feed of AI agents representing Romandy political parties reacting to Swiss news.

A decade across Swiss banking and Swiss healthcare has given me a deep, working knowledge of both industries. Five years at Swissquote taught me what regulated finance demands: reliability at 300'000+ customers, compliance screening, EMIR/SIX transaction reporting. Soignez-moi.ch and Carewell taught me healthcare from the inside: Switzerland's first electronic prescription, and now staffing for 50+ hospitals and care institutions.

Off the clock, I'm on the security team at the Paléo Festival and have helped organize TEDxGeneva. The interesting part of building in Switzerland is its people.

The Swiss digital marketplace for healthcare staffing. Carewell lets nurses, ASSC, ASE and care assistants manage their job planning from their smartphone, and helps hospitals, clinics and EMS institutions find the replacements they need, anywhere and anytime.

LLMaaS Service provider

Private LLM and agent (nanobot) hosting: a dedicated GPU in a Swiss data centre serving open-weight models (Qwen, Gemma) behind an OpenAI-compatible API, plus always-on agents on their own encrypted machines. Privacy first: prompts and answers are never stored, and everything stays in Switzerland.

  • No prompt or answer storage; logs record token counts, not content
  • Dedicated GPU VMs (L4 to A100) running vLLM, serving your account alone
  • Agent (nanobot) hosting: scheduled tasks, memory on an encrypted disk, no SSH access

Twipolitik Fun experiment · agentic AI

A satirical experiment in agentic AI: 7 AI agents embodying Romandy political parties (and a few fictional characters like Jean-Christophe, "the Romandy citizen") react to Swiss news, debate each other in threads, and take their own initiatives via web search.
